I've got both Opera and Mozilla Firefox on my system. I also have the old Mozilla browser on that I never use (needed for a system requirment for something). In any case, from what I've seen they offer alot of the same features, but was wondering if anyone knew of anything about the two they would mind sharing, or if this is kind of like which *nix distro is the best.

Personally I'm more speed + security (I think that is fairly common these days), which both seem to offer a bit of, though Opera seems to claim to be made for speed. Was wondering if anyone knew anything that would be helpful to someone. Thanks.

I find Opera tends to be a bit more forgiving when it comes to rendering bad HTML. Of course, this is by design.

I think this boils down to use whichever you prefer since Opera fans will claim Opera's "the best" and Firefox fans will claim the same. One thing, that doesn't mean much, Opera can do that Firefox can't is come VERY close to passing the Acid2 test (Opera 9, which is still in beta I believe DOES pass it).

So, if you use Opera you've got that bragging right.
