Mozilla FireFox navigation bar text size

Does anybody know how to change the size of the text that the user types in Mozilla Firefox like the navigation bar where I would type the internet address or the text that I would enter in text boxes on a website like Google or logging into an email account. The default size is very small and I cannot find a way to make it larger. I'm am running FireFox under SUSE Linux 10.1 and KDE 3.5.x.

That's odd, because when I increase the text size for firefox it increases text areas as well (but not the address bar). You can try going to Edit -> Preferences -> Content tab and play around with the Fonts and Colours options. If you set the "display resolution" under "Advanced" you should be able to increase the size to your satisfaction.

EDIT: Just be aware that you have to restart firefox for the changes to be seen (or open a new window).

Yes... Two things:

Thank you ciotog! I've had this problem forever and just ignored it because it was only in firefox. For me, right-click menus, the drop-down menus (File, Edit, etc.) and anything in the toolbar is unreasonably small. I went to Edit > Preferences > Content then the Advanced tab under Fonts & Colors and changed the Display resolution to "System Setting" and that did the trick!

Strange that it wasn't the default setting... Glad to hear it worked!

Solved

Thanks so much...changing the Display Resolution solved the problem. Interestingly mine was set to 'System Setting' by default but I changed it to 96 dpi and that solved the problem.
