Mozilla buttons do not work

When I visit web sites like under mozilla and try to perform searches the button will not initiate a search. I can visit web pages and other links that is not a problem.

However submit buttons to posts, logins and searches will not work.

This is mozilla 1.4 under debian.

Sounds to me like a glitch in your installation.
Did you try to un-install moz and re-install it?
If not ; It's worth a try. back-up your bookmarks first.

There are some problems apparently with the debian package of mozilla. I'm not sure if they're debian problems or mozilla problems but 1.3 has been yanked out of testing. If 1.3 has been pulled then 1.4 may have even more problems. Try this link it may help.
