Mozilla & external mailer - is it possible?

I have Mozilla 1.2.1 and sylpheed. In opera I set external mailer to "sylpheed --compose" and when a pressing to email link I get sylpheed compose window. How to force mozilla also run sylpheed? I know that mozilla also have mailer, but I prefer sylpheed due its performance.
