Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Hi, I am running RH8.0, and while d/ling the jre runtime(java plugin), mozilla just exited at about 97%. It gave no error message or anyhing. since then, I have not been able to get mozilla to stay open. It will open, load the home page then exit. Anyone know whats up/can help me?
SYS SPECS:
Athlon XP 1500+
256MB PC2700 DDR
Radeon VE Dual Display 32MB DDR
Audigy MP3
Linksys NC100
I'm having the same problem. In redhat 8.0, in GNOME mozilla closes after downloading the home page. It doesn't happen in KDE, though. I tried the fix stated earlier "rm -fr .mozilla" but it's not helping. Any other ideas would help.
