open terminal
rm -fr .mozilla

Run mozilla

If you have bookmarks, back 'em up. It's in the folder.

same problem

I'm having the same problem. In redhat 8.0, in GNOME mozilla closes after downloading the home page. It doesn't happen in KDE, though. I tried the fix stated earlier "rm -fr .mozilla" but it's not helping. Any other ideas would help.

You should do that after exiting Mozilla. I assume you must have.

set > a.txt
Paste result here.

Start mozilla from the command prompt and not with a button/start menu. If it crashes you'll see the error. Please past that error in the thread.

The more info, the better!
