Mozilla 1.7.2 - Java no longer working

Java has been working for Mozilla for a while now but today it suddenly stopped working. I don't know why that has happened. Nothing happened between yesterday to today so I think Java should still be working. When I load a page with java, it'll show the java symbol which indicates that I have java installed but the symbol stays there and the java isn't loaded. Any suggestions?

Well the problem is now solved. Apparently all I had to do was restart the X server and everything went fine after that. Thanks to anyone who tried helping out.
