mozilla 1.4 saving and downloading troubles
 

I have a fairly new install of slackware 9.1 and i'm having a problem with mozilla. Whenever i click on a download link or right click -save link tartget (or image even), nothing happens, no save window opens or anything. However i tried galeon and it works, but i prefer mozilla (a little help here would be appreciated).

What have you got in
Edit -> Preferences -> Navigator -> Download
?

Do you have any error messages in ~/.xsession ?

What output do you see when you start Mozilla from
a console and try to download?
