mozilla 1.4 lockups w/ advanced web apps
i just installed mozilla 1.4 and flash player 6. when i try to go to homestarrunner.com (that place rocks ) the page loads for a bit, then all of mozilla totally locks up and i have to go to the shell to kill it. anyone have an idea?

the situation has gotten worse. now the lockups are random, they can happen anytime. by the way, i still have the old mozilla bundled w/ my distro (0.98) installed. the only reason i didnt remove it is because i wouldve gotten rid of gnome if i did. ill remove it and see what happens, since i use KDE.

i got rid of the old mozilla, and it didnt help. i tried using opera to go to homestarrunner.com, and opera worked fine. anyone have a solution? maybe ill reinstall, but theres no uninstall script for mozilla.
