Mozilla 1.4.1
I'm trying to lock out the proxy settings on mozilla. I have some people who only need to access the internal lan, and i'm cutting them off the internet (yay for productivity). I have internal lan access configured, i just need to know how to prevent them from changing the proxy on mozilla (if they managed to figure it out).
Does anyone know of a way to do this? Please let me know. Thanks in advance. |
If you have a proxy server, why try to block the settings there in Mozilla, why not just block them at the proxy server to be only able to access the internal LAN??

hmmm...mainly because i'm not as proficient in managing proxy servers, and i'm not about to touch something i don't know much about. This was a quick easy solution that lets me limit one side, but i need the other side with full internet capabilities. Since i'm handing out ip's dynamically i can't just limit the redhat boxes and provide full internet to the M$ boxes...or can i?
