Mozilla (1.3): Proxy chaining

I recently learned about proxy chaining to provide better privacy while surfing the internet. However, none of the articles on the net seem to explain how to do this in Mozilla and it doesn't even seem possible anymore.

Is this still a function? If so, how can it be done?

Thank you in advance.
