Moving to Linux

Hi

I've installed Linux and am preparing to transfer to it completely in the next few months. I've been running Mozilla Thunderbird under Windows and have it under linux.

Is there a way for me to transfer all the existing emails across to my linux partition so I can access all my emails to date.

I've seen articles about allowing the emails to be accessed by both windows and Linux but I just need to transfer it. Unfortunately, the Firefox import option does not recognise Firefox.

Any help would be much appreciated

You just need to copy your profile folder and then update any paths in your preferences file so that they match the new linux locations.

Just make sure you have a backup first and you should be fine.
