Moving mvp3's from Window to Linux

I have a large mp3 collection in windows, but i'm sick of windows and want to change to linux. I want to format my computer and make Linux my primary operating system, but don't want my mp3's to get formated. I first thought about saving them to CD, but it would take to many. I thought maybe i could partition my hard drive say 75% for linux and 25% for my mp3's, but doesn't linux have a different file structure then windows? If it does how do i move the mp3's from the windows file structure to linux? How do i then delete the windows partitions and convert it to linux?

Any answers, comments, suggestions?

If you can create a partition and format it as fat32 then Linux will have no problem reading the partition. Just don't format over it. It would be best to add another hardrive and install Linux to it. Then plug in the old drive as a slave or put it in an ext USB drive case and use it as aportable harddrive.
