mouse issues
I have just installed Red Hat 7.3
During installation my mouse worked perfectly before and after choosing the correct mouse type. However, when I boot to the GUI my mouse is inoperable. I have to navigate with the keyboard. How can I fix this? |
"How can I fix this?"
You have the wrong mouse type set in /etc/X11/XF86Config. You can edit /etc/X11/XF86Config with a text editor and change the mouse type. __________________________________________________________________ Be prepared. I chose the exact model from the list of mouse during installation but I think the problem might be that I have picked a usb instead of serial.
Do you know how to change this? |
just become root
print "setup" on command line and change the mouse configuration |
