Check to make sure the mouse is plugged in?

I know it's a pretty dumb question for me to ask... but guess how it'll feel when thousands of people reply to this post and you find out your PS/2 was loose!

I know I did when I once posted here, to find out my damn mouse was unplugged. LOL

Also -- don't give up about posting here man. Takes sometimes a day - maybe 2.

If nobody replys and your post dies... pretty much repost your question but make the post subject a little more... curiousitive - so people are more likley to click to see what it's about.

Good luck with your problem! ;-)

I had the same problem when I installed SUSE 8.2. I changed my resolution and refresh rate of my monitor and it fixed the problem. All without "seeing" the cursor of course!
