mouse cursor

Hello, I want to change the mouse cursor, but I'm unable to do it by myself..
I've tried different ways of doing it, but nothing works. I'm using Gnome 2.6 (little bit old, but..) and the theme I want is here:
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=13524
Thank you in advance.
