Mouse and Repository problem in Mepis 3.4

I installed Mepis 3.4. However, I am having difficulty configuring the mouse and adding up repositories. I have 4 servers connected to KVM. The other linux distros works fine but if i get back to Mepis the mouse is so slow. I also tried adding the following repositories which worked on the previous Mepis versions:

ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian etch main contrib non-free

ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian sid main contrib non-free

ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free

ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable main contrib non-free

But still I can't seem to make it work.

Compare /etc/X11/xorg.conf in Mepis with other Linuxes' mouse settings and change Mepis mouse settings to one that work in other linux. Is mepis showing the mouse you actually have?
Mepis3.4 has repos or /etc/apt/sources.list that they recommend. www.mepislovers.org help page may give you updated ones for current Mepis. And check there post-install guide. Good luck.
