Mouse Accessibility Feature

There is a feature under "Mouse Accessibility" called "Dwell Click" which supposedly allows for the initiation of the mouse click "when stopping pointer movement". I chose that feature because I have a disability, and the computer says to reboot to allow for feature to be enabled. I re-booted and nothing is different - I still have to click the mouse. What am I doing wrong? THanks for all Help!

Thank you for your help. Evantually the dwell feature simply started working so I no longer have to click the mouse. This feature is under
System/Preferences/ Assistive Technologies.

Glad you found an answer, & thank you for sharing your solution, that's part of what LQ is about -- helping those w/ similar problems who come after. But you still didn't answer my Qs:
* Which distro?
* Which desktop?

Your solution is no good to anyone else w/o knowing to what it applies.
