Mounting windows shares using samba.

Howdy all.

I'm quite new to Samba and need some help. My question is how do I access windows shared drives/folders from Linux? I can access my samba shares through windows, but not the other way round. I'm using SuSE 9.1 Pro, and Windows 98SE.

Have a look on your Linux machine for a program called LinNeighborhood. It may be on your installation CD's also. It offers a reasonable GUI interface that allows you to scan the network, and see other machines. You can then mount shares on windoze machines. It works well once you have Samba configured.
