mounting files system
 
I am a linux fan. Iam eager to know everything abt linux.

I am able to mount FAT file system but not NTFS file system.

I am using Fedora Core 5, RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 4, SuSE 8.1.

In All these OS iam not able to mount NTFS file system.

Please help me the to solve this problem with full details.

Linux 2.4.X does not have ntfs support, use a newer distro or complile a newer kernel.

Fedora and RHEL are both new and will both support NTFS provided the kernel module is installed. Suse 8 I know nothing about but Google should know. Use Yum in RHEL and Fedora to find the NTFS package to install.
