Mount ISO in rw mode?

Hi,
I want to be able to write to an ISO image. I can get the ISO to mount, but I can't write to it, it says it's a read only filesystem. The command I tried was:

mount blah.iso /mnt/cdrom/ -t iso9660 -o loop

I also tried adding -rw to the end, and mount would say that it was mounted as read-write, however, whenever trying to write to it, it would come back and say it was read-only. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,
Marshall

iso9660 is not read/writable, as far as I know. This is a possible solution:
