Exclamation Mount hdd unable to copy to it

What up Linux world?!?!?!?!?!

ok I got one hdd (hda) , I have my home in one partion and / in another. I also have another partion(hd6). In my home partion i am almost out of space so I want to copy some files to my other partion. Therefore I mount hda6 to either a new dir in my Home or mnt, In either case when i try to cp or mv any file to my partion(hd6) I get device out of space. Now I know I have space in that partion I have atleast 6gigs and the file or files do not add up to six gigs.

Has anyone encounter this problem b4?

1) what command did you use to mount hda6?

2) show us your /etc/fstab entry for hda6.

yeah well I use mount -rw /dev/hda6 /mnt/hdb

but yes i think there's something wrong in my fstab

Disk /dev/hda6 doesn't contain a valid partition table <--I guess this was the BIG HINT!! lol

So checking my fstab my hda6 does not appear anywhere, so go figure eh, so I guess i'll just add the entry n c if it works. would that fix my problem????
