Mosfet's Liquid & SuSE

Alright. So I've been toying with KDE eye candy. One of the things I'd like to try out is Mosfet's Liquid, but I haven't had much success.

I have a SuSE 8.2 box. I have tried installing liquid from source and although it compiled and installed fine, nothing shows up at all in the KDE control center. (It is supposed to be a style, IceWM window deco, and a colour scheme as well as its own module under "appearance & themes")

I uninstalled & tried the rpm from SuSE's website. Now I got the module in the control center, and the window decoration but that it...

anyone else know what the problem may be here?
