more audio programs at once


Well again, no strange kde thing taking care of which program can use the soundcard. I'm using Icewm. How do I allow more programs to use the card at once? edit : using alsa

How much of kde and gnome would have to be installed to use one of those sound servers? It looks to be easier than those other solutions and if they don't need a complete installation and still run on Icewm
