Mono installation
First off, I'd like to say thanks to the Mono developers (if you're out there) for making such
great software. Actually, Mono is the reason I finally switched to Linux
(Mandrake 10.0)! My problem: I downloaded the mono-all.zip file, so I'd
have all the RPMs. I've installed everything without a problem, except
for monodevelop. It requires System.Web.Services. System.Web.Services
requires System.Web. As I understand it, System.Web is contained in
mono-web-forms-1.0.1-1.ximian.6.1.i386.rpm. This file requires
mono-remoting. But mono-remoting requires System.Web! It appears I've
unwittingly stumbled into a vicious RPM cycle. Could someone please point
me to a site where I can download System.Web.dll, and avoid all this?
Thanks in advance,
Alek
