Mondorescue on Mandy 9.0

Anyone here using Mandy 9 have this working? I am having a bitch of a time getting Mondo installed. It keeps squawking at me about not having mindi and afio installed but mindi is in /usr/local/sbin/mindi and I can run mindi from there. Afio is /usr/bin/afio
I have gone through the install procedures on the mondo website to the letter but it still keeps telling me these dependencies are failing.

Try running rpm --rebuilddb. When that finishes try your installation again.

*bump* have you tried that suggestion? I am about to try mandrake 9.0 and mondo and would like to know if the pitfalls people are having are resolvable...
