modules problem
I dont really understand the new modules utils which you have to use with 2.6 kernels. I use modconf to uninstall a couple of modules. But after a minute, they are loaded again. Can somebody explain how it works, Im in a mess with the modules file, the modprobe.d files, the modprobe.devfs files, modules.conf.. etc..
ive gone throught the man pages and commented a couple of alias everywhere i could.. but these modules keep loading and even at boot time it tries to load them several times. (mousedev module already loaded ocurres around 10 times) thanks |
open /etc/modules.conf and if ya dont know what to remove paste it here...

but i don't know... at startup, it tries to load several times certain modules, again and again, and even after bootup, it reloads modules and keeps on trying, even modules that are not compiled in my kernel.. jeje
