hengestone LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2006 Posts: 1 Rep:	Modem/phone ring applet or indicator? Hi all I share an office and like to listen to music using headphones while I work. Problem is, I can't hear when my phone rings ;-) I have a modem which I can plug my phone into. Using minicom I can see a message when the phone rings (RINGING). My question is whether somone knows of an applet or application that can watch the serial line and warn me when the phone is ringing? Thanks! Conrad
