Modem Lights applet source?

Folks, I've been using the Modem Lights applet that came with GNOME but want to enhance it's functionality. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find the source code for it, nor the homesite of this project. Can any one of you help please?

Thanks a million!

There was a discussion about this applet on desktop-devel-list a few days ago. It seems functionality wise this applet is rather broken, and nobody is sure what to do with it.

Anyway, the package you are looking for is called gnome-applets or gnome-panel-applets or something. Look in GNOME LXR ( for it.
