modem drivers
 

hi all. i ve just bought a new modem, a smartlink 56 K, and got the drivers. the prob is that when i run the "make install" command to compile the drivers i get like 1 million errors. I downloaded the last version wich is 2.9.7 i think, and same thing, 1 million errors, warnings. do u know what can i do?

we even dont know what those errors are. and i dont think there will be 1million errors. make will stop on the first error. did you read the readme file come with driver. is there any install file in the package if yes then do read it to. can you please show last 10 or 15 lines. or you can contact the author of that driver for more help.

when i said 1 million i meant "1 million", ya understand? nevermind. sorry it's the "make install" thing that doesn t work. yeah i read the readme, it talks about some "kernel headers" and it's written some users must edit some files for the driver to work , there's no install files just files that i must compile. i'll post all the eror msgs later. aahhhh! why must things be so difficult?!!!!:mad:
