Please provide us more information on what you are trying to accomplish.

Are you trying to use your PC's modem? Connect the modem and the phone on the same line?

Or are you trying to use the Phone as Modem feature of a cellular phone?

I think what he means is to connect the hpone line to his PC's modem, and thus use his computer has a phone.

It would probably be easier and cheaper to buy a modem card with both a phone line and modem connection (integrated splitter)

You can get one for about 10 dollars.
