mod_mono pointing at wrong folder

I'm running slackware. I installed Mono using the binary installer. I point apache at the so file, and the test files that come with xsp, and I get this message appearing in the log files:

[Tue Feb 14 04:15:45 2006] [error] (2)No such file or directory: Failed running '/usr/local/bin/mono /usr/local/lib/xsp/1.0/mod-mono-server.exe --filename /tmp/mod_mono_server_global --nonstop --master (null) (null) (null) (null) (null) (null) (null)'. Reason: No such file or directory

I know server is not at that location. I know where it should be looking (default install location was /opt). Where do I tell it where to look?
