Smile Mod Rewrite: Excluding a specific path from rules.

I've just set up Subversion (with Apache -> WebDAV), but I'm having a little bit of trouble making it accessable alongside the mod rewrite rules in place for my Mongrel cluster setup.

Unfortunately, the SVN path I defined (<Location /svn/example) is being caught by one of these rewrite rules, and my request is subsequently being handled as '/svn/example.html' - which obviously doesn't work.

My question is, is there something I do to ensure that /svn/* is excluded from any rewrite rules, so that it might be handled correctly by Apache.

Kind regards,

In your .htaccess file put something like this:

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !^/svn(/.*)?
Note I didn't test this, so it might go squiffy. Tell me how you get on.
