Mobile Phone Sync USB
Is there a package available that will sync the phonebook from a mobile phone connected by a USB cable? I have seem Kandy and gammu, but they use AT commands via a serial cable correct? I have a Motorola T720 and I have the Windows package that allows sync and comes with the USB driver. Could this driver be useful for accomplishing the sync in linux perhaps?

Has this question ever been resolved?

No, unfortunately it has not been resolved. Now I actually use a Motorola V710 and still use Windoze software to sync it. I haven't looked at this in some time, by now maybe there is something that will sync it? Somehow it may be possible to use Wine with the Windoze packages, but that would require a lot of config to get the driver working. Any ideas are welcome!

My impression is that cell phone support is spotty at best. One more reason I can't get away from Bill. :(

I've been looking for some time to sync my phone (Motorola e398). I didn't try yet, but im reading the manuals and help files I have from these programs:

But I think they are very vague. Recently i found one driver for the usb connection for motorola's phones. Here's the link:

Can anyone help me if with the driver is possible to sync?
