mldonkey...


i can get the gui up and going but i can't get any further i get this error after i apply settings...

mldonkey core could not be found on the configured host: port, try again?

how do i verify the host port?

Ok, i guess i had to run mlnet first then the .g2gui but now i get another error...

Username or password incorrect, try again?

Is it the user name i am logged into on my box? Becasue that doesn't work

what's the solution? Having the same problem myself: tried setting up a new user account for it but still didn't work ...

This one is now driving me nuts. Please release me from this incorrect login hell.

Pretty embarassing this .... in case anyone else gets stuck, leave all values to default on the preferences screen - i.e. don't enter a password. It doesn't seem to be related to the linux username or passwords.
