mkisofs and preserving directory trees
Hi all,

I have a quick question about mkisofs. When I tried doing the following:

$ mkisofs -o ~/stuff.iso *
the end result is that the directory tree in the .iso is all messed up. To be specific, it seems that instead of keeping subdirectories in order, it's dumping them all into the root directory, so what used to be dir1/dir2 becomes dir1/ dir2/.

The manpage lists a -D option ("Do not use deep directory relocation") which looked to be what I wanted, but it didn't make a difference.

Am I missing something obvious, or is what I want not possible?

mkisfs -o ~/stuff.iso .
--- rod.
