Missing text in Google Chrome

When I open up Chrome I can only see part of the text on a webpage (namely links). The rest of the text is completely missing. I have tried reinstalling, deleting the profile folder in ~/.config, and checking the font settings to make sure they are correct. These are the errors I get when I try visiting a webpage in Chrome:

Code:

jonquil@Jonquil:~$ google-chrome
[0710/200843:ERROR:nss_util.cc(80)] Failed to create ~/.pki/nssdb directory.
[5155:5155:150076353213:ERROR:CONSOLE(6472)] "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'can_uninstall' of undefined", source: chrome://newtab/ (6472)

This only started happening when I moved from Ubuntu Natty to Fedora 15. My husband also made the same switch yet Chrome works fine for him.

Can anyone help out with this?

This is currently a bug in Google Chrome that the developers are aware of.
