missing makefile and configure

Hi all,

I found a software application, with Readme written in foreign language...

Well, ok, so I cant find any configure or makefile in the folder...
But there are configure.in, makefile.im, and autogen.sh , is it possible to generate configure or makefile from these files? how to?

usually just run the autogen script in the directory:

./autogen.sh

the autogen.sh script might run configure when it's done (sometimes it doesn't).

bad... when i run autogen.sh, it said bad interpreter : file not found ...sth like that...

did it list what interpreter it was trying to find? it would help if you posted the error message.
