What are the exact package names for the version of mozilla and crossover you downloaded. Can you describe your problem with Thunderbird in more detail? Can you run Firefox from the command line?

I believe firefox and thunderbird are installed on your system if you managed to use them before. You need to search for where the binaries are located and create a link or menu entry to make it easier to start them.

You can search for these files, by going to the menu and then clicking "Find Files/Folders", enter "thunderbird" or "firefox" and change the search path to "/". On my system Firefox is in /usr/local/firefox, so when I create a menu or desktop entry, I would enter /usr/local/firefox/firefox as the command that runs Firefox.

As for installing mozilla, its a matter of extracting it (tar zxvf mozilla-version.tar.gz) and then entering the extracted directory and clicking on the mozilla binary.

You can also install all these packages using the Mandriva Control Center but they could be older versions.

What is the exact filename for Crossover Office?
