Hey all,
I'm trying to install KDE 3.1.4 on my system and I'm getting some errors. I have been using the 'Konstruct' program as mentioned on the KDE page for downloading, unpacking & installing packets.
When I've finished with the packets I run 'make install' and I get the following error after 'Checking for Java':
checking for Java... find: /usr/bin/../share/ssl/CA: Permission denied
find: /usr/bin/../share/ssl/CA: Permission denied
find: /usr/bin/../share/ssl/CA: Permission denied
configure: error: Incorrect version of /usr/include//jni.h.
You need to have Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.2.
Use --with-java to specify another location.
Use --without-java to configure without java support.
Or download a newer JDK and try again.
See e.g.
http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.2
Anyone have any suggestions?
