Missing Audio Codec
 
Hi When I select an audio file to burn to CD using Linux express burn I get an error message saying "Missing audio file. I,m presuming I have not loaded something yet?

Can anyone help

Hi, it sounds like it is trying to play the file instead of burning it. Also, what type of file is it? What distribution of linux are you using? There are also other CD burning applications you can try. After you mention what distribution you are using (ubuntu, fedora, opensuse, etc.) and what type of file you are attempting to burn, it will be easier for others to advise you on how to proceed.

OK Thanks. I,m using using 8.10. using I,m away from my Linux PC at the moment so cant determine file extension. I have the same problem using in reverse. IE: When I put my tutorial CD,s in under windows they would using but in Linux I get an using error and havent worked out how to fix it. If I search the CD for the using video file and click I can play it. A bit annoying when each CD contains a lot of short video files in using numerous other files and directors
