Arrow Mirror in Redhat 9 (help)

I have install my Adaptec 1200A Raid Controller with 2 Seagate 60GB hard disk formated with NTFS, which i tranfer from a windows xp machin with configured Mirror set as hardware in card Bios .
When i start my Redhat 9 machine first time after installation of raid card and its hard drives, its took little bit delay in booting but after one reboot its ok,
i checked in hardware browser boths raid hard disk are showing as
hde1 and hdg1
i mount my hde1 drive it done and i can see hde1 in /mnt/ my-data folder (i already installed NTFS driver )

1-My qestion is should i use these drive as it is NTFS, but in any
condition it should only one drive becouse its Mirror set.
2- or Should i will have to recreat Mirror in card bios, then how i can
format drives in linux
3- or any other way i just want to use mirror set in linux with these
hardware (i think it should show only one hard drive becouse
second is just mirror of first hard disk)
requierd Solution ???????
thanks for all
