Mint quiana screen shots saved but can't find having made some screen shot


Having made screen shots and saved. I cannot find where they are located to proceed with job.
Any ideas?

It might depend on how you are doing it. If you are using a screenshot app or the PrtScr key on the keyboard. Some info from the Mint forums at the link below. Most apps that I have used will save to the /home/user/Pictures directory.

I use mint 17.2, and the app I use is called 'Screenshot'
The pictures go in pictures folder.

I usually do the draw around what I wish option. It works same as snipping tool in windows.

Than both.
I used the screenshot app. So I guess a harder look is called for.
Print/screen I have used under Windoze, and assumed it was a Win only function.
Will give it a go.

Open screenshot.
Take a snap.
Hit save.
See the last path used.
cancel.
