Cool Minicom Terminal

At work we have an old linux box that runs scripts on a program called Term that executes scripts to access a PABX meridian phone system. My job is to do an upgrade to a newer machine with a uptodate version of Linux.

I have installed Fedora Core as my Linux O.S I then connected it to the 16 port DIGI box EM and have successfully installed the driver for it. Then i installed Minicom 2.1 software. I have to use Minicom instead of Term

The other box is still active until i get the new machine up and running. Both are on the network. I need to make my connection files for minicom and change the scripts to execute minicom instead of term.

I have all the *.con files i'm going to use that are currently using Term. I have also been asked to check a .profile autoexec file whatever that means.

I can cd into /usr/term and cat the *.con files.

Any ideas what my next step is to execute the files using minicom on the new machine instead of using term on the old machine.

Yes they are shell scripts that run when a switch is invoked ie if a then do this action , if b then do this action etc

I think i need to do minicom -S scriptname but i havent tried it yet.
