Yes, but with one important difference. All it does is relay mail to another machine. So it's good if you have a mail server running on one machine and a bunch of web servers running on other machines. This way, you don't have to install a complete mail server (with a queue and all the other features) when all you need to do is dump all that mail over to your primary mail server.

The catch is... it delivers mail using QMQP, so you have to have this enabled on your primary mail server. Does this sound like what you were looking for?

Yes, but mini-qmail cannot do this. The purpose of min-qmail is to have a small qmail installation on a computer and have all of its mail (probably generated from Perl or PHP scripts) deliver mail to another smarthost... in this case, your Sendmail server. If I undstand correctly, this is the opposite of what you're trying to do.

if I understand correctly, you will need to install qmail completely and set it up to relay mail from your sendmail server. I recommend installing according to Life With Qmail. You can find the link in my signature. Once you have it installed, you can set your qmail server to receive and deliver all mail from your primary by using the /etc/tcp.smtp file.

I don't know how Sendmail works, so I will not be able to help you configure the Sendmail server to use the qmail server as a smarthost. I'm sure you can get somebody else here to help with that part.
