mimms not working


Hi,

I get this error wiht my sheeva:

Connecting ...libmms error:/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/libmimms/core.py:245: DeprecationWarning: BaseException.message has been deprecated as of Python 2.6
  print >> sys.stderr, "libmms error:", e.message
libmms connection error

to solve it I ougth to do :

echo 2 > /proc/cpu/alignment

Does echo 2 > /proc/cpu/alignment can break my computer? What does it mean / does?
