MIME Types?
 

In Mozilla, in order to set a new Helper Application, I need to type in a MIME type. What is a MIME type and how do I know what to type in.

Oh come on. Someone has got to know. Help me please

hmm i am not sure what it is but i think it's like a mimic file extension or something like that, i have seen thigns like .jpg and the mime type it .mime-jpg, this probably has nothing to do with what your after, so sorry.....
