migration from exchange to Linux

hi, we currently used Exchange on Windows 2000. We would really like to migrate to Linux. Any advise on
- Sendmail or Postfix?
- any migration tool to migrate automatically?
we have public folders, public addressbooks,
- and any possibility to move also clients' outlook mails to a webmail on Linux?

Hi Wiseman,

One possibility : take a look at the SuSE Linux OpenExchange Server. [Link to site].

Not free but a lot cheaper than Exchange and with a lot more "out of the box" functionality than trying to build something from scratch.

They have a nice demo version you can log onto online to see what its like
