Migrate RedHat to VMware session?

Hello,

I need to migrate a current Physical server to a VMware session.

I understand migrating Linux is reactively easy manually, but I need a direct image of the server.

Is there a tool which will do this for me?

Thanks in advance.

Do not need a tool and tools usually screws up. VMware should be able to read your physical drive. You will need a separate disk for your OS. Another way is create a disk image in VMware that is greater than the amount of data on the physical disk. Then use VMware mount utility to mount the disk image and you can copy the files. A third way is using partimage or using clonezilla.
