Migrate Mail From One Machine 2 Another

Hello everyone.

I am currently almost done building my company's new web server and need to move users email from our old machine (a FreeBSD box) to my new machine (A SuSE 9.0 box). I know where some mail is stored like in /var/spool/mail/a_user and /home/a_user/mbox, but where are the user's other mail messages, for example, their sent mail stored? I can't find it. We're running Pine and Sendmail on our old and new machine. What's the best way to go about migrating users email? Thanks a bunch!

Most POP configurations store the Inbox in /var/spool/mail/%user% and the Sent, Drafts and Trash files in /home/%user%/.mail (it is a hidden directory so you need to run 'ls -la' to see it).

Thanks ramram29. It turns out that I was just being scatter-brained. On my machine the files are in /home/a_user/Mail instead of /home/a_user/.mail

I had sent-mail in my root email account, but I was looking at the mail spool file for my regular user account. Duh. As Carlos Mencia says, "Dee dee dee!"

 ;)
