migrate exchange 2000 mail boxes to RHEL 4

We are going to migrate Exchange 2000 mail server to RHEL 4 mail server. However some user mailboxes are in the exchanger server it self and i am trying to find a way to migrate them to the new server.

In the new server we'll be running sendmail.

I want to know if it is possible to migrate mail boxes without a 3rd part tool and if possible how to do that (please give clear instructions).

Thanks in advance.
